He got better at it imo, save for the minor villains in SBR. He gave them sob story pasts out of nowhere with no context and expected that to carry them, but we never had a reason to care enough about them to learn their pasts. The way he did it with Keicho is good because his backstory actually had something to do with the main plot and explains why he did what he did, not just a sad story from their life and a line about how they went on to do whatever and wound up where they are now. He's definitely rectified that in JJL though, the villain flashbacks have been GOAT and plot relevant mostly.

But Erina had blonde hair in every incarnation I can think of and Suzie Q was confirmed blonde on multiple occasions which means chances are that Holly would indeed be blonde too. What's the difference between waiting in intervals of a month or waiting another 2-3 years without any new JJBA content? I'd always recommend just getting into it so you can discuss it here and not get spoiled. It's gotten really good in the last 2 years too. Besides, the wait isn't that painful unless JoJo is all you like and you're a NEET. Just get amongst it anon. Part of the fun is guessing what will happen next, and Araki has finally learned how to pace a monthly manga so the wait is worth it and not just a slog. Only time I'd ever suggest waiting is if the Part had only just started but JJL started in 2011 and is 53 chapters in. You'll probably enjoy it more if you take the time to reflect on each chapter rather than speed read. So far JJL has been something it's way better to read spread out rather than all at once.
