Apart from that, there is kinda also the fact that we get scenes with characters we care about, like Tatsumaki and Fubuki.
Meanwhile the remake new content keep introducing more random monsters and heroes for one shot stories. Every fucking extra chapters is about that, and we'll never see them again. It's fucking frustating. We should get more ones like with the powerlevel mask where we knew all the characters, was much more interesting.

That's also the problem, it's already slow enough and the one shots and side illustrations are fucking using up all the time.
There were fucking more pages in that one shot than we got for the main releases the last 3 months. We didn't get anything in 5 fucking weeks. Even getting out of the new arc content before the end of the year seems unsure at this point. The new volume takes two more times than usual to come out.
On the side note, talking about new volume, that drawing of Metal Bat with his cat in the stream was fucking nice, wonder if it's the next volume cover.

Even if there is legit reason to want to study them, isn't it better to put the monsters in a separate isolated building, away from all those rich and powerful VIPs they are sheltering?

The issue is now they started to get paid to bring in defenceless VIPs and get paid for the privilege. If I am rich and powerful I am not going to be happy I paid a lot of money to share a building with imprisoned monsters.

You mean Metal Knight, and the issue is that the VIPs are the people who actually keep him and the rest of the HA employed, and they are almost certaily being kept in the dark about what kind of neighbours they are getting. One of the adverts in-story was that "it is safe because you live next door to superheroes!", except if you have monsters right downstairs the safety just goes way down.

As I say, the issue is Hero Association now has paying customers. And the customers are not the huddled masses but wealthy patrons, who actually have the power to twist HA's arm if they ever find out they got swindled. Metal Knight himself might not care, but the HA organisers would be horrified if the news gets out and the patrons threaten to sue or withdraw funding.
