I don't know man, Hanekawa in Kizu could almost be considered insane in how far she'll go to be involved what she'll suffer through just so that her life will be interesting.
She really didn't have anything keeping her around other than a tentative friendship with Araragi and the promise of exciting shit going down I was shocked when shebasically gets cut in halfand then sticks around like it meant nothing to her.
In general, I can understand why Araragi views her as something almost otherworldly.
