The problem with this is that Subaru already tried to retrace his steps last episode. Every little change he does like waking up screaming makes it so that he can't reliably predict the future. If the bad guy slashed at him from the left the last time he died, on the retry the bad guy does a thrust attack from the front instead because Subaru got into a battle stance half a second earlier.
So unless he can perfectly recreate his movements and thoughts 1-1 the next retry is going to have slightly different encounters. He can predict the broad strokes of what's going to happen but the little details will be what kills him.

At this point, Subaru's relation with the twins is rather bad due to the fact that he was a dork between the first time he awakened and the checkpoint.
Afterwards, things can go either way, even if I'm pretty confident that red-haired girl is pretty much a no-go because of the obvious relation she has with the Master of the mansion, but also because of their obvious lack of valuable exchange. Blue-haired proved to be quite receptive and supportive of Subaru's character and way of life, which could eventually set her up for a friendship with Subaru.
