My buddy types exclusively with his index fingers, I have never seen him even touch a keyboard with a different finger and he types like 80 words a minute. Most of the movement is in his wrist and elbow too, I have no idea how he does that.
For comparison I use home row, very standard "taught this in gradeschool" typing style and I type about 120 words a minute, this is something like top 97%.

Same here, although I was taught to type with all 4, I found I was faster using my ringfinger rather than my pinky for the QAY and PLO keys. I have exceptionally large hands and using my pinky for those keys would cause the rest of my fingers to be so cramped up on the remaining space I would hit double keys.

I honestly don't know why WASD remains so popular to the point that gaymen keyboards come with special caps just for them. It's so far to the left of the keyboard you only have space on the right for keybinds around them. ESDF should be your minimum location with RDFG and TFGH being your pro level go tos.

10fastfingers isn't super accurate because the text you're having to type is just a jumble of random words and you don't need to worry about anything other than the occasional capital letter or apostrophe, which isn't representative at all of how you'd normally type with all kinds of thought given to sentence structure and varying punctuation. It's fun, but typeracer is probably more accurate overall, though because it gives you a set word count instead of a time limit, if you get a super short excerpt to type you can totally inflate your WPM.

100-120. I use a hybrid-style of typing where I usually use about 4-5 fingers to type. Typically my middle fingers rather than my index, one hand rests touch-typing style while the other is hunt and peck.
I'm also a software developer which is why my typing style tends to be a bit different.
