This too, this kind of "the adventures of a hero in a foe-ridden world" shows tend to be boring as fuck to me because they spend all the time jerking off to their own world-building instead of making interesting characters. Same with Kekkai Sensen, had to drop that shit halfway into the first episode because it had been 12 minutes and I knew nothing about the characters, the monsters, the problem, or even the world (other than it's supposed to look edgy, cool, and low-life).
