Not really. The idea behind the show is actually feasible: 30 kg astronaut vs 60 kg makes a huge difference in cost. Another hilarious aspect is that skintight (or mechanical counterpressure) suits are the best way to go for these kinds of missions, assuming you can make them.
Ahh, nothing really tingled my autism in quite the same way ever since. I'm glad it gets remembered on /a/ more and more recently.
