Sure, Black Clover is beyond terrible, but My Hero Academia and Hinomaru Sumo are some of the best series period in their respective genres from the magazine.
Mononofu, Straighten Up! and Haikyuu are all damn good sports type manga.
Isobe and Saiki Kusuo are great gag manga.
Samon-kun is a pretty interesting romcom, and Ghost Tits isn't great but it has a pretty interesting MC which could help it down the road.
World Trigger isn't all that special, but it's a perfectly serviceable battle series that reads like a sports manga.
And in turn Shokugeki is a cooking sports series that reads like a battle manga.
And AssClass which just finished has left an imprint on Jump history as one of the most important series for the magazine, period.
We've had/are having some seriously big names end as well to make room for this new generation of big manga. Series like Naruto, Gintama, Toriko, Nisekoi, and eventually Bleach.
This is one of the best times in history to be a 10 year old in Japan.
Not to mention One Piece is arguably the best it has ever been right now ever since Dressrosa ended.
Hunter x Hunter is back and going brilliantly as well.

There's no real tension to anything because of trion bodies and overuse of training battles. The general concept and a lot of the storytelling can be pretty stupid as well.
All the characters are pretty bland, and while the art-style has improved since the beginning it's still pretty stiff and boring.
Has some neat world building, but it's nothing that people are going to remember in 10 years.

Trion bodies create tension because it means that people can be defeated affecting the overall battle which is a big factor with the overall war sense of the series
As for training battles, they need to git gud (sans yuma) and this is a great way to introduce characters well still having time to expand on the current ones plus we have gotten some world building

What are you talking about? A decent number of the characters being shown now are strong characters who will have roles later. Some have had recurring roles already. The others are to characterize that nature organization itself. We simply can't just jump straight to action. Anyone advocating that is just a shonentard who like Naruto. Even so we've still seen action frequently outside of Rank Wars.
We should stop pretending this is Bleach where every character is characterized solely by they're irrelevant ability and are forced to fight 1v1 against some irrelevant member of the villain's team to justify their introduction. Naruto was shit, Gintama is interesting when you get the Japanese jokes, Toriko has always been a DBZ knockoff with more food, Nisekoi was just boring.
Bleach is the only one that ended properly after all of these years due to actually tying up loose ends, telling a complete story and all the major plot points coming from the first arc (Pre-Reaper arc).
