Actually, Kaio Ken simply makes you stronger; it's not that Kaio Ken by default makes you 2 times stronger. You can use 1.5 Kaio Ken, 4.7 Kaio Ken, whatever you want. Personally I'm disappointed because the last episode raised my expectations. We had a tolerable battle, an opponent that out-asspulled Goku, the threat of Earth being moved to universe 6 and the threat of Hit getting the god cube, which Vados and Champa implied would ensure not even the gods could track him down. Hit winning the tournament appeared the logical move.
