While I know that KyoAni surpasses Bones when it comes to overall animation quality, I much more appreciate the styles of animation and art that talented Tokyo animators put into their work. I prefer a good Yutapon sakuga sequence over KyoAni's animation even if the rest of the episode doesn't look so good.
Hibike S2 will be in the summer, the subtitle for it is literally "Kitauji's hottest summer".
Robotic Heart Update will get animated for Winter because it's literally a Christmas themed show (the main girl is named Snow)

That looks great but I honestly prefer the complete opposite. Good, consistent quality from episode 1 to 12 even if there won't be any top tier sakuga moment, although Kyokai no Kanata had some great scenes.
KyoAni might not have any legendary animator in their rooster but I honestly don't mind since most of what they do doesn't really require any elaborate fight scenes.

They can take 2 years polishing a piece of crap like Kyoukai no Kanata or Phantom World, and it isn't going to make it much better because it's difficult to significantly improve on a bad source.
Both studios make a lot of shit anime, but KyoAni's heavily limited by having only a small assortment of self-published crappy LNs that were written by people who were rejected by Kadokawa.
Hopefully Violet Evergarden is as good as they think it is, if it is, it'll do wonders to fix the overall gap in quality that shit like Phantom World made. We also have Hibike S2 (written by someone outside of the studio who actually knows how to make a good book) and Koe no Katachi coming up which look to give KyoAni a bright future.

I haven't heard of BDs being sold in theaters like they did with KnK Kako-hen, so we'll probably have to wait until October or so for them to release. Then someone will hopefully rip it and upload it. After that, nobody knows how long the subs will take. We were lucky with TLS because someone had plans to pick it up, but for this, we don't know. But since it's a recap, I'm fine without subs, I already know a lot of the dialogue anyway. The main appeal of the movie for me is the extended performances.
