Togashi: It should be intentional. That is called an Archaic smile. I am insistent on drawing mysterious expressions that are a mix of different feelings. Also, when drawing these expressions, the corner of the mouth is the easiest area to handle.
Togashi is just stalling because he has no idea how to make the DC work. I bet theyre3 gonna be on the fucking boat for like 50 chapters, aka 5 years.

Pariston quit the zodiacs and hunter association but has control over the 5000 chimera ants from last arc cause he switched the plane that was carrying them and was about to unleash them if:
1) if HA were to monitor Beyond, Pariston will release the soldiers to the world.
2) If HA choose to not do anything, Pariston will set the soldiers onto HA.
Then ging came and told him to stop messing with the HA and play with him instead.
Kakin - the country that's financing the journey the the DC led by beyond netero and his nen specialists.
Kakin's king needs a successor, so he made a ritual/blood oath on his 14 children, whoever survives and comes back will be the future king.
The princes each have hired alot of bodyguards and have spies in the hunter association, which is why the zodiacs invited kurupika into the zodiac to flush them out, in exchange on info of his clan's eyes.
The 4th prince has many of kurpika's clan's eyes.
V6 - the major leaders of the 6 biggest countries in hxh.
It was originally the V5 until they let kakin join them and are now a part of the journey to DC, the original V5 also gave the zodiac's the mission to keep beyond netero in check cause they want dibs on all the new things they find.
They are now going to the DC in a giant whale.
One of the zodiacs might be a spy/traitor, suspected to be the monkey.
Gon can't use his nen cause he needs an ambition, he was looking for his father but now that he found him, he has nothing to look forward to.
Gon's ancestor Don Freecs wrote a journal about his travels into the DC, V6 has the East edition, the west has not been found.
Ging says Don might be still writing it.

Not only is 1999 more accurate to the source material, but it retained most of the violence from the manga. Kazuhiro Furuhashi, one of the top directors in the industry at the time, turned Togashi's masterpiece manga into an even better anime adaptation. I really don't see how anyone can objectively think that the '11 series is superior when it falls flat in so many ways:
1. Amateur director that turned Hunter x Hunter into a Saturday-morning cartoon, with almost no violence or respect for the source material. Egotistical to say the least, to think he could tell a better story than Togashi.
2. Screamo music aimed at adolescent pre-teens with anger management issues. Just goes to show what kind of demographic they were aiming for.
It's no surprise the reboot took years to get licensed by Viz, considering Madhouse's haphazard treatment of the Hunter x Hunter property.
