They way I look at it now, they made the jacket's collar much bigger and his mouth doesn't seem accurate. It should be a much wider smile, like in this GIF Something about his chin and cheekbones too. That's why he looks off.

In the anime, he's way thinner than in the games. It's weird to see Gumshoe being that thin, to be honest.
And I am not complaining about the show, that was just my initial reaction to one of my favorite characters in the series. He just needed to be a bit bigger and have a rounder face, and boom, Gumshoe would be awesome.

The shading and colors are one of the worst things in this adaptation. If they fixed that some of the shots would look way better. Even with economic animation.

I loved the games but the show seems like it lacks the small humor that I missed from the source. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but it seems like these episodes are not quite the same, even the live action was better. Is it just me?
