I reread the whole thing yesterday. Basically Chidaruma created the world of magic users, and magic users themselves. Humans are inhabitants of another dimension that Chidaruma discovered while bored one day. Magic user's found a way to enter that dimension too and when Chidaruma came back there was a huge pile of human corpses and he was like "ah shit".

En's resurrection broke like 1 or 2 pieces of canon too.
The fact that at this point they were just heads because they killed the rest of their bodies to use as ingredients for Ebisu's doll means they logically shouldn't be capable of producing smoke because it comes from an organ in their abdomen. It's not a big deal but it really irks me how incredibly lucky and asspully En's revival was.
This manga better have a good ending happy or sad it better not end with everyone dying. This is the only manga that I've actually bought and i hope to own it all as it's relatively cheap.

Black powder is just the Boss's magical diarrhea that the cross-eyes thought was some kind of prophetic symbol and decided to sell it.
When Nikaido meets Kaiman in the Hole and thinks he must be an impostor is one of the funniest scenes in the whole manga. Their faces on this page especially made me laugh.
