Reading the LN now. I have no idea why so many people told me to skip until the post-anime story. LN is loads better than the anime. Characters in the LN just feel much more fleshed out. Would have been a waste to skip 12 volumes.

The anime leave out narration and some monologues. Either you have the narration in the anime and you get episodes full of infodump on religion/mythology/fairytales/pseudo-science or they leave out the narration and you get a ton of posts by secondaries who think Kamachi doesn't do research.

Nah anon, anime got all the main shit and reading 13 volumes with consistent bad translations is not the way to go.
Until YP is done with 13 I'll always tell people to watch the anime.

Anyways as long as people manage to reach volumes 14-15 after the end of the anime where shit hits the fan, it doesn't matter. They'll get hooked and stay till the end.
