It makes or breaks a show. You can have a bad story, bad sound, bad characters, but excellent art and animation and I'll most likely still watch and like it. You can have a show with excellent characters, excellent story, excellent everything, but has terrible art and animation and I'll drop it in a heartbeat.
It's like a game with bad gameplay but a good story; you can't ever have a story good enough to cover up your complete failure at utilizing the medium to tell it.

This grid really manages to gloss over ow uninteresting 95% of the episode looked. The short intro sequence was literally the only part that looked consistently great, the rest were just quick still shots for the most part.
