I remember some anon saying they could translate if it was Japanese Raw. Anyone still out there? I highly doubt it's getting official translations. Would've gotten them by now but Viz is probably waiting for the movie to release in the west first. Unsure if any group will pick it up.

I'm pretty sure most care about DM more than Arc-V. It's just that when it comes to translating manga unless it's super relevant it's not going to be translated anytime soon. Most of /a/ doesn't care about manga at all. It's all anime. We've had plenty of DSoD threads over just the movie itself.

Why not? He doesn't need to do it for financial reasons, but he's still an artist and must have a few stories still kicking around in him. Togashi doesn't need to work, but he puts out a chapter once a year.

I always thought he felt overshadowed.
When you think about it, he originally loved the D'arby duels in Jojo and wanted to make a manga based off of that. Then the whole Duel Monsters bit he included in the manga skyrocketed in popularity, and editors wanted him to make more of that. Then they made GX and 5Ds and Zexal and Arc-V, all of which are as officially sanctioned as GT was to Dragonball.
Even if Kaz was to make another series, we would all see it as just another series made by the Yu-Gi-Oh guy. It's like how The Casual Vacancy was overlooked because it was a J.K. Rowling book that wasn't about Harry Potter, or how Psy will never have songs which reach the popularity of Gangnam Style.
