Then I started episode 1 of Part 3, and well ok its sort ofbad
Why is literally everything different? Where did these new abilities come from? Is this what the whole thing is gonna be now? Why is he a damnJap
Is this just one of those shows that people stop watching after the first season or does it actually get good again? What is the best Part animated so far?

-The mood changes in every part
-A number of different sources but in this part and the next one, this thing called the arrow
-Kind of. Stands are there for the rest of the series but each part is drastically different from the last
-The author's a Jap. Get over it
-No. It gets MUCH better (not sarcasm)
-Part 4 is currently out. Episode 2 came out today. So far I'd say it's the best animated part.
still watch part 3 though. it's amazing in it's own right. and watch part 4 when your done. I'm sure you'll like it alot more than 3. (pic is from part 4)

Because Araki had a bunch of cool new ideas but didn't feel like starting a brand new series, so he just tacked it on as a new chapter of the one he had already going. You can't sweat the inconsistencies, just take them as the price to pay for more entertainment.

Either read Part 4 or wait for the anime to finish, it's the best Part that's getting animated. Like other anons have said the mood changes from part to part, which is why Part 4 will feel so different, and it's sort of boring at the start, but just bear with it and you'll like it.

Stands provide a much more interesting way for characters to fight and more interesting abilities. They start off boring because Araki was just getting into the swing of stand battles, but by Part 4, he starts getting creative with them.

One of Part 5's supporting characters has the power to create zippers along surfaces to take them apart and pass through them. He can even use it on himself to separate his body parts.
