Who are the most absolute of madmen in the manga, anime, and LN/VN industry?
Kotaru Uchikoshi has some pretty outrageous plots, though they tend to be similar.

Honestly, if Taro wrote an anime it would be right up /a/'s alley for sure. Narrative and atmosphere are what make his games beloved among the niche drakengard/nier fanbase rather than anything necessarily unique to games as a medium.
Although I think a VN would suit him more than an anime, he uses the route-based format really well, and makes good use of supplementary stories and information.
