They're completely opposite personalities. One's selfless the other's selfish. Even the designs show opposite ideas. Kazuma looks innocent but is an asshole. Subaru looks evil and beady eyed but is a really nice guy. They're colors even represent this with green and black respectively.
The only similarity is the track suit, in that case throw Shirou in there too.
