I really dont watch much anime, i've been watching more recently, and its been hitting harder as a result. About a year ago I watched Gurren Lugann after not watching an anime except DBZ in quite some time and that hit me the worst, it didnt stop for a few days. Today I finally finished KLK and a couple others, as my friend kept suggesting I watch it. I enjoyed it, but now have that feeling again.

Find a job that requires you to ACTUALLY work for 8+ hours a day. Seriously. You'll have tons of $$$ BUT very little free time. Trust me, having a lot of stuff to read/watch/play but not having enough time to do so made me appreciate all these little things way more than during my hikkineet years.

It's gonna be depressing when I finish it, I probably should have made it last.
I got a burnout last season. I'm still kind of burnt out on /a/ but it gave me time to rethink my backlog. I decided to try out some old fantasy OVA's and even marathoned most of Gankutsuou. Now I've been reading some cheesy romance manga for a few days nonstop and it's really sparked my enthusiasm once again.
Just start trying random things. Look at some rec charts or something and just get off whatever routine and rut you've fallen in to.

I think I have a problem where I "take a break" near the end of a series that I really like because after that It's over and there's no more. I just watched out for some interesting shows during the start of a season and jumped into it.

Oh man Acchi Kocchi, Seitokai no Ichizon Angel beats, Ano Hana, Hentai Ouji, MM!, Zombie des car, and Medaka Box. Its even worse when there won't be a second seasonOr in M!'s case. The author dies. I felt content with Gurren Lagaan, Its weird but I was completely satisfied with the ending.
