Also, the original weird order made it much more appealing. On one hand it made the viewers discuss among themselves how the chronology went and it added an original layer to something pretty generic most of the time. Having it now in regular order really hurts the rhythm and appeal making it a bit less weird and too close to generic slice of life.

Having the movie they made as first episode and then the movie making in the middle of the series made the episode funny, knowing how bad it would end. Putting them in order makes it a slow episode followed by a previsible result. Putting the slow S2 between the S1 slowed down the pacing for no reasson besides being the order things happened even if there was no effect, making it a full season of filler added to the source material.
