1. HxH was a daytime show for a while. Most of its money came from tv ratings and not BD sales. You could say pokemon or precure tanks every year because it sells no BDs.
2. Parasyte and Death Parade didn't really high production values. They looked slightly better than most anime, but this is most likely just because Madhouse has good staff. You need to understand that 90% of the time bad animation is because of bad schedules and needing to outsource work (to accommodate the time they lost because of bad schedules), not because of budget issues.
3. None of this changes the fact that Madhouse isn't wasting billions on shows that sell like shit.

The ratings weren't that impressive for such a well known franchise. It also switched timeslot later on.
