Color me surprised, the first episode was really good. The animation looks nice, the OP was great, and im loving the OST.
Anyone else really worried about the adaptation though? I feel that they're really rushing it given that the manga isn't that far in. The anime is probably going to be full of filler or have One Piece anime tier pacing.

There's enough for 2 cour, probably. Everything up to the end of the USJ arc will take at least 13 episodes unless they stretch the fights out. Sports Festival and Field Training are probably enough to fill another 13 episodes. By the time they adapt the Finals and Field Trip arcs, there'll probably be enough for a fourth cour, even.
After that, they can just reboot it every 2 years like HxH.

Why do I have a feeling that this series might go beyond the moral event horizon? Not trying to be edgy, but there's been a couple of implicit ideas explored in the series (ex. marital rape, mass murder, eugenics, racism, suicide, divorce), and the whole idea thatNoumu was just some regular guy before he was experimented on to the point where he's a zombie per se, just points to me that this might go down a more HxH route for how dark it might get, especially after All-Might's inevitable death.

The "Baby Hold Your Hand" arc and Kenpachi vs Unohana were one of the best current arcs. It made me feel reminiscence for those older Soul Society arc days
You can talk shit about the pacing, convenient power ups, and weeks of nothing happening, but the characterization and emotion for most characters when given the spotlight in Bleach, show genuine emotion and that's why I'm still keeping up with it.
Hero Academia also has them, not as many, but when they do, they hit hard. Like Deku and his mom crying at his quirklessness, or this.
This is what I look for, emotion. I can't wait until we see more moments that revolve around All might. He is one of the best characters in the manga

Even Kachaan sees himself as good. He might be a dick and do kinda evil things in his pursuit of his goals, but his ultimate goal is to be the ultimate hero.
Which is why he was so fast to reject the villain alliance offer. Becoming a villain might give him power/freedom, but he already chose which goal he wants.
