Naruto only focused on a small circle of characters in it's early stages. It didn't take until several arcs until they expanded on more teams than just Team 7. BnHA has given a healthy focus on each and every student while retaining a 20-way friendship.

I like Batman when he's in Gotham, but the moment he starts hanging around other heroes those heroes have to be retarded to justify Batman's worth. Keep in mind that quirks didn't originate from one person, they popped up randomly in newborns around the world over several generations, so there's a lot of base variety. And in the same way, it's entirely possible that children with new quirks could be born of any parents, even ones with existing quirks. There's also the strong possibility that certain quirks, such as OFA, just aren't hereditary and act as a sort of quirk roulette for their children. As for consistency, it's there for the most part, but not many families have been shown. On the topic though, it's interesting to think that characters with similar quirks have a good chance of being closely related, and unsettling that Tsuyus parents have the same quirk.

I'm a different anon but I also don't agree. I mean yeah he could of went the hero route but I doubt that would have change anything. Why should he try to be all might when clearly even all might presence isn't bringing the change he wants. All all might has Done is inspire the new generation of heros but slowly it does seems heros in that world are getting farther away from what it originally meant to be a hero. Being a hero there seems more like it's a gimmick or people are doing it only because it's what's in right now. Nah, most powers are low-level. Make a small puff of fire! Slow telekinesis on small objects! I mean, the story specifically focuses on people with the most powerful quirks, and even then no one has anything world-breaking.
Very few people have a quirk more powerful than a gun or a bomb. In real life, lots of people have guns and bombs, and we still have a society.
Quirks would make things a little more unpredictable, but not unsustainable. Especially since, if you have a powerful quirk and you're an asshole, heroism is a better option for you than crime. It pays, and you get to be famous and not arrested!
