It was just an example. The point is everything that's a huge pro also has a reasonably huge con to it in Overlord, so unless you are incredibly easily amused that novelty runs dry in the long run real quick.
To put it into perspective, think about how slow Overlord is in story time and how fast it is in plot progression. By the time Vol 18-19 rolls around wrapping up the series it wouldn't have even been a decade. This is a series about a gamer turned skeleton conquering an entire continent. And he's gonna take presumably less than 5 years or so. In fact vol 1-9 basically happens in the span of less than 2 years, possibly even 1 year. That's half the story.
Any self insert fantasy that doesn't go into super headcanon and retcon all the cons is gonna end up wondering what the flying fuck you do in the next 100 years. Assuming some moralfag hasn't grabbed a shiny stick and killed you.

That's not really accurate, he dosen't scare the NPC's at any point in the LN and he dosen't really need to make them happy (but of course he does because he sees them has his children) they're programed to be absolutely loyal to the guild members and that obviously extends to him the guild master, so they would never rebel unless something like a WCI came into play or the creator of one of the NPC's came back.

Alot of these things can explained by the fact that the NPC's flavor text, karma and the parts of their personnality they inherited from their creators makes them act a certain way and that they express their loyalty in different ways, but if Ainz gave them a direct and clear order they would do it no matter what, they would even kill themsleves if he ordered.

The main point of contention was that he did not report Tsuare. Ainz had a legitimate reason to be worried because Chair was already MCed and Sebas is an excellent combatant.

Lupus wasn't even ordered to protect the three of them until Ainz scolded her for it. Her not reporting to Ainz is more laziness than active disobedience, she genuinely did not know why Ainz was interested in them.

Hard to say, as the NPCs were programmed to be utmost loyal to the SBs, especially the one who created them. Just look at Ainz vs Shalltear fight were Shalltear mocks Ainz saying that Peroroncino is superior to him, or how Sebas thought that if he had to choose someone to obey, he would choose his creator, Touch Me. Maybe with some time the NPCs might slowly put Ainz above their creators, since he never abandoned them and is good for them, being merciful and forgiving their faults, but I think that Ainz will always be their second favorite (1st being their creator, 2nd Ainz and 3rd the other SBs). Only exception is PA and Albedo.

Sounds very expensive to produce..., why not a FE type where Ainz, is experimenting with creating inteligent undead and he creates you a "Undead Strategist", and comends you to lead a group of Nazarick Old Guarders and other low level undead to assault adventurers and other groups, after each battle you can use your magic to revive some of the enemies as undead but this costs exp wich you gain by killing the adventurers or others and is used to create new weapons and healiing"basically everything" unless you take the weapons from the adventurers (no shop mechanics, unless you spent your exp, into spy undead or buy Weapons when you are near Nazarick to PA for Ainz memorabilia or Demiurge for Scrolls by using human prisioners in wich case some of the villages wich you raze will yield prisioners wich you can give to him or some enemies will chose to surrender unaware of the risk, also maybe Enfirea and Liz for Potions by using money or herbs)and it depends on how efficiently you use your resources to kill your enemies, basic FE, through the campaign the undead start develping personalities (so there´s your support mechanics), also recruit other creatures, like Lizardmen, Trolls, Ogres, Orcs, wich swear fealty to AOG, That kind of game will be a lot more easy for a group of anons to make

That doesn't sound easy to do, I think, unless you mean statically having your companions move through a numbered friendliness meter, and based on that, their text changes, still sounds like a lot of hassle to do for all of the companions, I think for a game like this, you need to spend a lot of time on writing the story and dialog and picking fine lines.
When I thought of that idea, I basically wanted a basic RPG.

I don't know why people say it's very expensive, if anything, it shouldn't be more expensive than any normal RPGMaker game, you can use So-Bin's art for the known characters, and for the undead player, it's not really hard to find art of liches and skeleton warriors.
I prefer my idea, not a matter of pride, but I prefer the simpleness, the MC being a simple foolish undead (Just like his master), and just having general Overlord antics, like the undead doing something great by pure coincidence.
