Oh wow. Surprising to me because the anime really had that Trigger feel. I mean honestly, as much as I don't care for their rather insipid storywriting, Trigger really has a gorgeous, distinctive, animation style and Hackadoll was one of the best looking short anime series ever.

I can't tell if you're joking. The animation was nearly as hit and miss as NS, half the time.
But from what I read, someone at Trigger helped write the show.
I miss Hackadoll. Sometimes, I go back and rewatch episodes 4 and 6. Those were solid.
