BTs have trion pools, but they can also pull from the user too.

They add to your pool but your own is still a factor.
Consider Yuuma's black trigger. It provides trion for his non combat body and heals it when it's damaged, but if he's destroyed in his BT combat body he can't activate a trigger again and is nearly out of trion.
You can run out of course, because they're not infinite. I'm guessing Yuuma's trion regenerates from eating and stuff.

But here's the thing, the reason Chika's Trion makes everything too strong is due to the way Border's Triggers are designed. They are supposed to be used by many people with different Trion amounts, so in order to keep them in the fight for as long as possible it automatically adjusts the amount of Trion used per shot.
1. Fujin is a BT and as such can't be altered to be like Border's Normal Triggers.
2. Again it is a damn BT with its own Trion so even if the previous point was false it shouldn't matter.

All of the Afto triggers were ncredibly flashy and complex. The Afto gunner trigger was able to smash straight through border shields, as well as having sniper accuracy, range and the ability to fly. Hyuse with Lamprys generated thousands of durable magnetic, reflective shards that could be controlled precisely and at long range. They were absolutely comparable with black triggers.
Looking at their stats from the Briefing File, Hyuse has 18 trion and Lamvanein has 25. Border's trion monster Izumi only has 12.

I would disagree. From the page you posted, it sounds like Mira was choosing the size of her windows and that the larger windows use more, so she exhausted herself. Afto triggers seem to give you total control of you usage (Hairein can use bullets of any size, from bee to giant turtle).
In contrast, Border triggers automatically throttle your usage and don't give you the ability to choose your own levels. For example, Osamu can't choose between firing small bullets and lasting longer or blowing everything on large Ninomiya size bullets, he's stuck with small bullets for everything.
The T1 triggers seem to bridge the gap, letting their users scale up the effects if they feel it's appropriate.
