I wanted more focus on the racers, Pocoloco only really appeared in the beginning and then kinda dropped out of sight, Soundman was awesome but then just kinda died, I didn't really like the whole "Lucy is a goddess and her body is crystal" part, Johnny doesn't make use of moving his body through holes as much as he should, D4C felt kind of convoluted, and the death of Valentine felt anticlimactic

When part 7 first hints at Spin being a step towards a stand it mentioned Hamon along with it, so you could possibly get a stand form mastering Hamon enough or finding the perfect way to evolve it.
Non of the hamon masters developed stands for obvious reasons, but no one until Gyro got a stand solely through Spin despite it being their livelihood to master it. So its safe to say mastery is not enough, you need horse-perfect-spin levels of bullshit to get a Hamon stand, and even then said stand is probably tied to Hamon use like Balll Breaker and Act 4 where to spin and horses.

Alright, I went through Batoto. By the looks of things the only Parts of JoJo that haven't been given the colorized (or in the case of Part 5, the colorized/retranslated) treatment in their entirety are Part 2 and Part 5, with Part 2 needing everything between Caesar dying and the finale and Part 5 needing pretty much everything after White Album. What's weird is that you can find all of White Album done along with bits of GER and all of the epilogue. But do you guys realize what all this means? Pretty soon we'll have all of JoJo translated properly with a majority of it in color if you want that.

He seems to have a clear focus and direction with it, there won't be a drastic change like the jump to monthly, and by now Araki has figured out how to pace a monthly manga. He's kept everything mostly consistent, there's a few things here and there that where changed or haven't been brought up again, but the plot is progressing along the path he set and its unlikely to change or not give pay off to the set up.
SBR sets up the whole race, Gyro's mission and all these characters at first then shifts focus towards jesus, kills of sandman and then forgets about Pocoloco until the end. On the other hand everything we saw at the first chapters of JJL has been followed up on, the only mystery which may or may not be touched upon is flashback man. We've explored the mystery behind Kira and Josuke's origins, what events lead up to the set up, the curse Yasuho refers to in her introductory monologue. Yasuho is still very relevant, Joshuu is perhaps falling behind but not forgotten. We're at a point where most of the mystery is known, so I assume the focus will shift towards saving the higashikatas from both the curse and the rock men, but its a logical change that makes sense with the plot progression, not just a mcgufifn introduced out of nowhere and suddenly the point of the whole journey.
