This show was literally meant to be the antithesis of stuff like SAO and the typical OP game otaku sent into a game world, but it betrayed all expectations.
It was boring, the drama was supposed to be the main selling point but it was dumb and shallow, the worse part of them being poor and weak faggots was that they had to recycle their underwear until it broke. There was no world building, no interesting character interactions, no strong emotional attachment (aside from maybe goblin suffering, kek), no interesting drama, no envolving action, no nothing. Even Manato's death was just a huge plot device to force some poor character development.
The only things this pile of shit had going were the giving intelligence to the monsters (which they only exploited a tiny bit in a couple of goblin fights) and repeated ass shots.
This tried to be a lot more than it was. You look at this and look at shit like SAO and Danmachi and the only decisive difference are the abominable and intrusive insert songs.
