As for Arima's blind spot, it being on the right eye, one could argue it's Ishida's way of showing Arima's inability to kill Kaneki. Arima is essentially death the plot device, he's not an actual character. He's the grim reaper, he kills and doesn't question it. Kaneki was the only one he hesitated to kill. In a sense, you can say Arima's blind spot, or weakness, was Kaneki.
As for Kaneki losing his eyesight, it's interesting. Maybe he's just going blind, literally and figuratively.

Jokes aside, since the first OEK is dead a while ago, and the only OEK we know about is the fictional character called "Nameless" from Eto's last book; I think she actually means Kaneki should kill "him" (nameless=heiße, according to Ishida's shitty german)
In other words, Eto requested him to stop being Haise the CCG loyal bitch investigator/pretending to be Arima 2.0, and continues living as Don Kaneki/Eyepatch Ghoul again.Anyways, it's merely my opinion
