Just a heads up, barely anyone these days even bothers with the first 12 volumes. Even the original translations were shoddy and not much is missed if you skip them. If you want to get into the story, start with volume 13 (kihara/vento arc), read SS1 (accelerator side story + shiage's debut) and go on from there. Volumes 13-14 is where the translation quality improves significantly.
