Will we see Luffy and co on the ship next chapter?
This is probably my favorite chapter of One Piece
which is weird but seeing Zunisha wreck the shit out of jack and his armada was amazing

Doubt any SHs are actually staying on Zou, I can only imagine maybe one of them staying to look after Zunisha, but that would be Chopper and it was just established that he's going with Luffy so nah. The three groups are all headed out on their individual tasks. I think we'll get a split arc, but the main focus will be on Luffy's sub-crew of infiltrators.

Because Oda does checks and balances with Strawhat panel time apparently. Sanji, Nami, Brook, and Chopper are due. Zoro, Robin, Usopp, and Franky are not allowed because they already put in their statement.
Although Oda is just fine with adding two random minks to the team instead of strawhats, even though the samurai supposedly need all the manpower they can get to start the Wano mission.

A few swordsmen could have cut the trunk, it would be a comparable feat to Zoro cutting Pica. if Jack was on dry land he might have tanked it a little better or had somewhere to go to dodge but on a ship you're a sitting duck.
On the other hand, big things are really fucking strong and being able to beat them is more about speed and maneuverability. Shanks got his arm taken off by a weak Sea King that Luffy knocked out with one punch. If it got its mouth on him he'd be just as dead.
I personally thought we would save the Zou beatdown for Kaido but now it looks more likely that Luffy's going to team up with Kidd and Law, and perhaps Apoo and Hawkins. I think any of the supernovas are willing to betray their master for a shot at the Yonkou title.

Call me insane but I don't suspect Zoro is very much beneath Mihawk anymore: Slicing open Pica at full size and the ice glacier were very comparable feats and after two years training I think the gap has been closed significantly.
And Zoro couldn't even cut Birdcage, which would lead me to believe it's unlikely Mihawk can. Besides this, we don't have any evidence Mihawk has Conquering King Haki so I don't think he beat Doffy.

As far as the official sources are concerned the story has two halves, Sea of Adventure and The New World, divided into 6 or 7 chapters.

Realistically if you want to call Dressrosa a "copy" arc then you have to say it steals from every single major arc in the first half of the story, and that Oda did it that way so that he could start a "vs the yonko" arc.
