LDS teaches Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, and a 4th course called Comppsite that includes Tribute Summoning and Ritual Summoning (Ritual being an advanced form of Tributing). The final class in Synchro is Fudo Solitaire, final in Xyz is Metamorphosizing, final in Fusion is Super Polymerization, and final in Composite is Grand Unified Duel Theory.
Interestingly, the courses go in the order the arcs are going in this show, with Synchro 1st, Xyz 2nd, and Fusion 3rd. Since Composite is the 4th, maybe it foreshadows that the final arc of the show will be in Standard again or in a 5th Dimension where only Tribute Summoning and Rituals are used - sounds most like DM (Fusions were minor in DM compared to all the Tribute Summoning). Maybe there will be a 5th Dimension. Tribute Dimension? Ritual Dimension? Maybe Tribute and Ritual are the same dimension?

DOUBLE TUNING was also a Big Deal in 5Ds. That said, Accel Synchro requires total peace and clarity of mind, which was only ever accomplished by a robot and a dude using a god-like being to cheat him into tranquility. Nobody in the Arc-V cast has that sort of mentality, except for MAYBE The Man or Reiji, and that's a pretty big "maybe". Frankly, the requirements for Clear Mind are pretty bullshit and could never be accomplished by an actual character. Without somebody cheating their mental state, they'd have to be a walking void of emotion to properly achieve the definition of Clear Mind given in 5Ds.
Yugo and Crow are probably the closest we're going to get to a proper Accel Synchro in Arc-V.

There needs to be a Neos retrain that slaps itself on the board when you have a Neo Spacian and also lets you SS a Neo-Spacian when you Normal Summon it. The major issue of the deck is that you need 2-3 Normal Summons a turn just to not have wasted your turn. There's no SS power and no search power worth a damn. They need to take a page out of the ZeXal playbook and give them board-swarming combos that are archetype locked.

Another problem is that while some of the fusions have good effects they have to leave the field during the end phase which is shit. Magma Neos is a monster as is Storm Neos. Grand Neos has a good effect and Air Neos used to be an OTK machine back in the day. The rest are pretty shit outside of like Rainbow Neos, The deck being able to swarm would solve a lot of problems as would dumping the Spacians for Miracle Contact plays. Neos obviously needs a retrain. I hope GX gets some of this love DM is getting. Not asking for a movie or anything, just retrained cards and expanded archetypes.

That's not as big a problem since you can run 3 Neospace and 3 Instant Neo Space, both of which are easily searchable, resulting in about 15 cards total capable of being dedicated to keeping your Contact Fusions on board. There are existing solutions to deal with the "return to ED" problem.
The obvious issue arises where you just don't have room to make good plays AND keep your good plays from being undone. Making the process of getting your Contacts out would help a lot to free up the deck's clog: by making the contact plays inherently efficient in execution, you can free up a ton of deck space that you can dedicate to the preservation plays and staples.

In a way, though, the real life impacts the show. Resonators were a garbage archetype despite having one of the better searchers in the game.
