If you'd notice, the light novel illustrator has slight issues with deciding how exactly and in what tone it wants to portray the characters, shoving all of them into a splash panel without deciding whether it wants to be cool, cute, shonen-adventure, pretty-shoujo, etc. and just goes for all of them in one respect or another. A lot of stuff in MT is forced drama, particularly once Rudy overcomes the hurdle of actually having sex (which is the line most harems or even romance series never cross, quite simply because it involves further love triangles and subsequent drama).
It's best to write it off as internally-consistent (and while stupid, it actually is), regardless of whichever girl you liked best.
In any case, it was resolved well-enough and every character was vaguely more mature about it in the end (aside from the obvious harem wish fulfillment).

I don't quite get that projection theory; I think it's more along the lines that Luke is simply the cliche of the shoujo "knight" being inverted into a silly-but-well-meaning womanizer (who predominantly would either be freakishly perfect and without personality, to being an unreasonably perfect guy until he pulls off a TWEEST betrayal of Ariel or something).
In the MT timeline, he's not even totally shit on; he's still fucking left and right beautiful girls, it's just that Rudy got to Eris before he did.
It's not so much that Luke and Eris are true loves in and of itself, but that it depends very much on the timeline and who is actually present.
A big thing I like about MT is the character relationships with respect to everybody else (the wives notwithstanding, due to harem hax).

Well, he was training himself in the fundamentals of magic the first chance he got after being born and making sure to train till exhaustion daily, was then was fortunate enough to be under the tutelage of yet another saint ranked (I think she was saint ranked by then) magician prodigy for a few more years, and then had to perfect his skills in life or death situations for another few years after from adventuring. I'd say Rudi is just very hard working, putting in several more times more work than others into learning due to fear of slipping into old habits and then necessity.

There's only so much "cheat" I can tolerate. It's a bit awkward, but it's not so much wish-fulfillment as much as nobody was bothering Rudeus to the point that he had plenty of time to use his ridiculous mana pool to bring our idea of modern convenience to people. A lot of the shit, like the storybook about Rujierd's people, was stuff he'd already been working on for awhile, and the rest was also stuff that are fairly easy to implement so long as you know about them from living in our lives.
And he does so much shit that he's thought to be as much an "inventor" as ancient Chinese kings (i.e. more mythologized than actual truth), even when it actually is the truth he did this shit (albeit most of the work being done by his friends).

It DOES suck, but overall, it's logically satisfying and sensible.
I mean, it's a traumatic event that essentially sends thousands of peoples safe in their homes to their deaths and/or slavery in a cruel world (which is probably far crueler than even Rudeus imagined or even encountered, since he's an unreliable narrator who will still help his buddy find a cute dorf slave at a slave market).
It would make no sense for coincidentally for all of Rudy's close relations and friends to be miraculously unhurt, or even most of them numerically. The Teleport Incident was a continent-shaking catastrophe that broke and shook economies the entire world over in MT.
So in the end those relations were sadly just red herrings from the get-go.

We have to be honest with ourselves here: we saw a harem, we knew there was going to be harem hijinks, and deep down we knew there was no real way the author was going to have this be logically satisfying in the span of a light novel. It was a means to an end and we just have to understand that the main three girls just are literally fated to be sisters in one way or another (though Eris is sort of the third wheel sadly since she never had a real relationship dynamic with the more intellectual Roxy/Sylphy duo).

MT world is weird like that. If you think about it, what Eris went through at the Holy Land would basically make her she-hulk, or at least bulging with muscles left and right but even in the WN that was never the case.
The rate of muscle growth in the MT world is rather different than ours. Beastmen can gain muscle no problem without even trying, but that don't mean shit when the majority of 'strength' comes from fighting spirit and not actual muscle fibers.
Second, Rudeus' regiment doesn't really give him gains, he never squats, he never does heavy lifting, all he does are push ups, sit ups, the OPM routine basically with some sword swings with a stone sword. A guy going to the gym and doing squats will easily gain more than him within a few months even when he's been doing it for years, but his muscles are gonna be different obviously, not just for looks.
Rudi's physical training is mainly for the ability to run the fuck away for a very very long time. You aren't gonna look like Hulk Hogan with that kind of training.

The funny thing is if you actually read MT all over again, and kept count every time he used his real life skills from math to science to physics to whatever, you'll see the story shows him surpassing 10th grade knowledge.
In other words, he was actually one of the brighter kids in school, he just ruined it for himself early on and was too obsessed with being the best in an area. Whenever he hit that wall, he felt like a loser.
In MT, Rudi just throws that mentality out the window. Learn what you can easily, then once you hit that wall leave it til later and work on something else. That's how he became well rounded, and then he goes back to previous walls with more accumulated knowledge and experience and tries again.
That's really the biggest growth Rudi has in the story. Not the silver spoon shit given to him, but how he deals with situations where he can't handle it. He doesn't just shonen MC and charge head on, he tries to work around it, compromise every time and wait for next time.

No; you can feel it throughout the LN illustrations. The artist is excellent at coloring and design, but still has issues with proportion and human figures. Everything ends up being a bit "cookie cutter" in composition, and "extremities/outliers" like the beast girls' tits aren't drawn well, probably because the artist has little to no experience drawing big tits (or even "shapely" female forms going by Elinalise's body, which borders on ladyboy).

Also, even without taking magic tools into account, there are a dozen ways to magically propel yourself without tools. The guy figured out how to fly, surely it should've occurred to him he could limit his movement to the horizontal plane for faster travel without the risk of breaking his legs? The faces have been getting people since we first got scans for the official LN art. They are odd in how uncanny valley they are, yet still somehow very "sameface syndrome" even when you can recognize individual characters.
As we got more volumes to look at, we notice that colors are excellent, but poses are a bit restrained or even too-exaggerated; like they were copied out of an art pose reference book.
Going back to the tits in the splash page in question: just take a look at the girls' tits. Torpedo tits are one thing, but they're perpendicular to the girls' chests. There's no "hang" to them (of which, yes, torpedo tits have which is why they're so good). It's an amateur mistake of perspective and/or general ideas of mass/space for an artist, even if lineart is fantastic and strong otherwise.
