Rebellion had really trouble being subtle.
Not that QB was good at being subtle to begin with, but first season at least felt like they knew what is the appealing of bikini armor and lewd fantasy in general.
Rebellion tried to hard to put fanservice on it whithout thinking what kind of service makes sense in the setting. And Grimoire had the same problem.

Honestly, Zara is the only Grimoire that I'd put on par with the originals (it's a shame that the only thing that people can talk about with her is that one page).
