None. He left at the perfect opportunity story-wise. Left a huge lasting impression that has still continued to last over the entire series even though he hasn't re-appeared in person in a few seasons.
He wasn't too intrusive into the story and even though we know he could have single-handedly solved all the issues, he only over provided Araragi the opportunity to solve them effectively sticking to his personal dogma.
He also lead us to characters much more interesting than the main cast in the form of the exorcists, people as we've seen are interesting enough in themselves to be able to hold books on their own.
Oshino Meme is probably NisiOisin's best written character out of any of his works just based on how well his screentime was spent and given.
