It was good that they only did it twice. It was a nice gag but it wouldn't had been a nice interaction. Nichijou shouldn't try the same joke more than twice ever because they always ruin it, like the sky castle thing.

Hakase was better in moderation rather than becoming the focal point like she was in later episodes. I can't really remember since I haven't watched since it finished airing.
Anyone got the first volume of the manga yet? I should be getting mine Saturday or next Monday at the latest. How is it from a presentation point of view?
