I'll miss this wonderful, crappy little show. It was awful, but I liked it for some reason. I love that it's always the same tiny clique of anons, (give or take a few each season,) who watch shows like this. I fucking loved Urawa no Usagi-chan. The ED is so catchy and cute I'll always remember it.

Although it should be noted that both BatChuuni and NinjaEnthusiast are also really excellent choices. For me though, no-direction-sense, always-lost puppy-clip longsleeves was just far and away the cutest.
I just downloaded the UnU-chan OVA. I have never done subs before and my Japanese is not really good enough to be subbing shit, but since it's only 3 minutes long and they probably aren't discussing anything above a 3rd grade speaking level or so, I think I'll try at least throwing together a script for it if people are interested. Not sure when exactly I'll get to it but some time in the near future I'll give it a shot.

It's quite interesting how this show seemed to get consistently better every week. Ruriko's antics in the latter half ended up being some of my favourite comedic moments this season. They even started changing settings, sometimes multiple times per episode.
It's pretty cool what they're doing to encourage those who want to be voice actors, too.
All in all, what started out as what might be called a morbid curiosity steadily grew into enjoyment and an eagerness for new content every week. Normally it goes it the opposite direction. I'm glad I gave it a chance.
I really wish I could give the same praise to Urawa no Usagi-chan. The character designs were absolutely lovely, but the rest of the show didn't match that level of quality.

Why did the meshis have to tell such blatant lies in every episode after tasting the food then complimenting it? Even after the show became self-aware. Doing some research, I found it's essentially a US southern recipe called Jell-O salad. Not surprising given their reputation for making nasty recipes with unhealthy ingredients.

People have brought this up before, but it's still a bad idea. In fact, it's probably a worse idea now than it was a year ago. Even the little 2-4 minute shorts are getting 50-100 posts threads that last half a day every week these days. It's nothing like the Usagi-chan days when we'd be lucky to hit 20 posts and last more than an hour. Shorts are becoming more popular and /a/ is slowing down.
Combining everything would just drown out all discussion of slow shows with the one or two most popular ones and combining only slow ones would just end in making threads last unnecessarily long and clogging up the board with what would inevitably become generalfaggotry.
On top of that, shows like Ouya-san and Sekko Boys have nothing in common so trying to combine discussion of these radically different shows doesn't make sense.
