Short answer? Sure.
Monster art is top tier and some of the characters are pretty likable. You've clearly committed yourself to reading this and I don't want to spoil anything, but some characters and events will just drive you nuts. Like you will just repeatedly ram your head against a wall repeating, "Fucking why?" to yourself.

Claymore's great. Used to be very beloved on Elder /a/, many eons ago. It does kind of meander through the final third or so, but the finale's wonderful. Does a pretty amazing job of having many distinct characters considering everyone canonically has the same hair and eye color.

It's an okay series.
Art is nice, however I struggled telling the characters apart because they all looked the same.
Story was okay. Nice start, gets mediocre, continues to stay mediocre however the ending was alright.
But at the end of the day it's your money. Don't let others tell you to not enjoy something.

I was just comparing because both are from similar genres and have slightly similar settings. We can't compare Berserk to shit like Yotsuba or Punpun because they're completely different from each other.

It's good. Being able to read several volumes in a row is a lot more enjoyable better than one chapter a month.
What I like about Claymore is despite the power levels most of the fights are won by the heroines working as a team, and the "magic" is pretty low-key compared to most shounen titles. Monsters start out looking like generic goblins but soon the bigger and weirder creatures take center stage.

Between me and you /a/, I thought the ending was slightly retarded, and that segment where the Organization goes down was fucking eons long, but Claymore is strangely addicting and I found it a lot more entertaining than I thought I would

The ending was a bit off, but it's justified in-universe by how Claymores are created. The biggest problem with the series is Priscilla. She needlessly inflates the powerlevels and never really accomplishes anything as a character beyond making sure Raki is in the right place at the right time. Replace her with a generic Awakened and the overall plot changes only marginally.
Yagi also got too caught up trying to tie up every loose end. There really wasn't any need to kill off all the abyssals in contrived circumstances, they could have been left hanging as a vague threat that the Claymores still have to deal with. All in all though I like the series, Yagi has gone on record and stated that he's always had trouble with long term storytelling. I'd like to see him pair up with another writer and come back with another horror/fantasy series. He's got a real knack for making great looking monsters.
