Thoughts? Started watching because of the premise, seems fairly decent aside from the typical anime cliches.

Can't comment on the anime, but the manga leaves a lot to be desired. The story is overstuffed with filler, where every volume you get one chapter that leads to a resolution and then forcibly return to the status quo. Plus, the MC was kind of a dick to Midori.

Would have been a 10/10 over the top comedy if it didnt have the random drama shit.
It was one of the first i watched so i'll always enjoy it. Plus the soundtrack is amazing

I was mostly disappointed with how little Midori contributed to the story. No one in his life ever finds out until halfway into the story, and even when he does it just returns to the status quo. It felt like the author came up with the premise but didn't have creative things to do with it after a few chapters. I felt the comedy went stale after the first few volumes, so that's probably why i'm critical.

I liked that scene, but like the rest of the story her plot could have resolved 4 times over.her entire confession felt very cliche. She starts at a high school window after school with a sunset behind her, and from there it just keeps piling them on.
