What's next on the list for Muv-Luv anime? The Day After anime when age gets round to making the combined TDA game?
This has been a BBC interactive news segment.
We started this project to recreate what the average citizen in the GDR would hear from the propaganda arm of the SED on a daily basis.
Using documents from the BStU we have painstakingly recreated a day by day outgoing public correspondence from an editor at the DEWAG Berlin-intern VAA.
The editor-in-chief, his name long lost in the sea of redactions, passionately published piece after piece of propaganda daily. One can only imagine his devotion and love towards the figurehead of the GDR, Katja Waldheim, the future chancellor of the GDR.
On the night of March 28th, 1983 the DEWAG Berlin-intern VAA offices on Wilhelmstraße were raided by protesters and anti-government forces. All employees were arrested by rebel forces and that is the last written record of what might've happened to the unknown editor.
All throughout the GDR countless agitators and propagandists worked tirelessly day by day to spread the words of Katja Waldheim in what seemed more like religious fervor than political indoctrination. One could say these people were more loyal to Katja than they were to the SED.
The period from the immediate aftermath of World War 2 and the fall of the SED in East Germany is marked not only by the brutal reign of paranoid communist political organs but also by the fierce adherence to values and ideals propagated by Katja Waldheim, the symbol of hope for the common worker in the GDR.
The end of communist rule in East Germany saw the fall of one of the major players in daily GDR life, but also led to the grand rise and immortalization of the most beloved person in East Germany, The Goddess of Victory, Saint Ursula, the first chancellor of the GDR Katja Waldheim.

In the end, you have to admit, it's a little funny how the ballad of the eternal ballcrusher, Beatrix Brehme, ended. The woman who had ensured that just about every man who had met her wrath ended up losing the ability to procreate, all with her own two hands, managed to keep her purity for Jurgen, even though her soul was an ugly shade. True, while Annet and Theo's double-teaming action almost soiled her - almost is not quite enough in this case. Her beating heart and bouncing, bountiful tits were filled with metal, yet you can't say the same for her barren womb or hymen at all... now can you?
One might even argue that the fortified suit's gel was just enough to prevent maggots from tearing through, at least long enough for the BETA to simply destroy what was left of her corpse by that point.
Let us remember the tale of this vengeful maiden, whose love, and life, were both taken from her by Irisdina. The one who turned to the absolute abyss of despair after everything that happened and was transformed by it, into an absolute demon who answered to nobody and cared only for the annihilation of East Germany as vengeance.
Not a single person, aside from Iris herself, understood the level of rage that this masculinity mutilator had for others. Yet do not shed tears for the testicular tyrant's passing, and do not even give her the pity that Lise deserves. For unlike her, she had yet to be sullied. Everything that she took upon herself was by her own volition, her own dream of total domination.
That this scrotum sacrificer's plans were totaled is an admirable outcome, though one might wonder how much longer things can go on. Does that really matter, though? In the end, what's greatest is being able to fight with -everything- you have, even if it's a losing battle. Better that than a victorious outcome where you would have to fight with a -very important- thing lost.
Goodbye forever, Beatrix Brehme. You'll meet Jurgen again soon enough, in another time, another place.

Live or die her actions were a turning point for the DDR.
If she had lived, the DDR would have fallen later but she would've have died with her countrymen on the battlefield. A martyr for all government loyalists who believed in "Might is Right".
Though not beneficial for the human rights of the general populace, she might've given humanity crucial time to prepare.
On the other hand, her death in 1983 was necessary to end the civil war and normalize relations with the BDR as being killed ended any hope the loyalist forces(who were very passionate about her ideals) had for winning, thus granting the wish of millions of people in the DDR and ending their oppression. They're referring to this guy, The Master, from TE. Easy to see why they could be the same (they even share the same VA, similar eye color too), but then again, there are reasons not so as well (Theo would be quite aged around 2001 if he's 18 in 1981, Walther already has gray hairs at 29, and their facial structures are different).

It scared her, broke her heart more than anything that someone was still willing to forgive her, to tell her she could still change, that she could still face Jurgen without extreme shame. By killing him, she basically wanted to be put past redemption, so they would not hold back.
So she could get the cruel, horrible death she felt she deserved.
A most tragic tale.
