Aki Toyosaki, Rina Hidaka, Yui Ogura, and Nao Toyama were good straight from day one. Even when each of them had less than 5 roles they were really good. Not everyone is like them though.
Then you got girls like Ari Ozawa and Sora Amamiya who aren't even that good, but became good when they found their niche.
Then there's the lead cast of Sansha Sanyou who don't deserve leading roles this early.

It really depends on the anime. Sometimes the source is so good that you can get away with a scrub casting on important girls, like Kiniro Mosaic, Gochiusa, or YuruYuri.
Not to mention the action anime where the voice cast can be literally who and we wouldn't care because the plot/fights/animation/budget isn't garbage and there's no CG. Too bad those types of action anime don't exist, so they have to compensate by hiring veteran seiyuu or moderately experienced seiyuu.
It really depends on how well Dogakobo does New Game this summer which will determine if they can get away with literally who casting or if they needed the help of seiyuus who have like 2-5 years of experience for once.

Initially it was full of guys who liked fapping to anime girls fiddling with each other; but it got a shitty mod, who was a fat irl dyke, and soon became full of angsty western webcomics, Buffy shipping, and The L Word threads.
Anyone who protested either got banned or had their post deleted, and the board (which was initially pretty vibrant), dwindled to the irrelevant mess it is today.
The funny thing is that /u/ today, is almost always in violation of it's own board rules.
/a/ is far more in spirit like the old /u/ was. Nothing can save /u/, and put yuri back on the board it actually belongs unless Hiro very publicly fires a few mods.
I really wish Hifumi's breasts were a bit smaller. I just want yuri pairings where the girls have similar body types. They're borderline right now but if they just shrunk a little then her with Aoba could be a lot better. Why is it so rare for pairings to be the same height and both have small or medium chests?
