One side likes the 03 anime
Others like the Brotherhood anime (I myself prefer the manga over both)

Its alright, 03 is about not letting your skills outpace your morals, while brotherhood is about using your newfound skills to enforce your newfound morals and plot armor.
I really like to watch both, but I have to admit a lot of hate for brotherhood from 03 fans is the laziness with the beginning and with the movie which adds nothing to the story.
