My favorite trope only exists as a split second thing, or as a background gag. It never lasts long on screen, with a few exceptions (Pandora this season, Korean Zombie Desk Car in that one sale episode, etc).
I love bunnygirls, man. Anime never does too good with it, doujins usually make them too lewd or too bland, and they only ever really look good in hentai games and Dragon Ball.

I agree that the style feels a bit... generic?
But at least it's consistenly good, you won't see the first episodes looking great and the rest looking like shit.
They probably follow the idea of "perfect is the enemy of good".
The anime is also not unique in any way, but it takes what's good in lots of different series and mix together in a show... That just works.
