They played up his okama aspect for laughs, he didn't get all grabby with his okama act and that's the reason he wasn't creepy about it. I would also include the edgefest Akame Ga Kill as one other anime that portrays gays well and not as creepy for the sheer manly delight that is Bulat. I personally loved Trap G-Ai.
A boy falls in love with a boy.

The thing is, she's not dumb, but rather very simple. She thinks in a black or white mentality instead of the realistic gray. It's why she resonated more with the people than Rui and why the atmosphere gotten so FUBAR. There's no compromise anywhere. The frightening thing is that she's technically not wrong with that way of thinking, just as with those not aligned with said way of thinking.
