The story is alright. God Eater 1/Burst/Resurrection do suffer from a pacing problem since there are times nothing happens and you just do a bunch of random missions but the story starts to pick up once Ren appears.
God Eater 2 has a better pacing since at least you're still doing something like helping out your teammates and then there's the Rage Burst arc.

Yes, except that's only for certain characters.
In Rage Burst you can select an outfit, and, after clearing a really hard mission with only one NPC ally, you can change their God Arc.
The parts they get are based on the weapon you used, so for example, you cleared that mission with Tatsumi and you had a Boost Hammer, Assault Gun and Tower Shield, he can equip a Boost Hammer and a Tower Shield; since he's a melee old-type he doesn't get a gun.
As for Resurrection, the option to change outfits plus god arc is there but it's empty/locked. They'll probably unlock it in a future update.

IT's a fairly annoying fight, especially if you go in blind or with a non-divine weapon.
Fighting it normal, it's a tanky but fast Aragami that doesn't have Vajra's flashbomb weakness.
When it's enraged almost every part of its body becomes incredibly resistant to damage. 'Reduces it by 90%' resistant.
If you manage to break one of its breakable parts (the cape, face, or foot - I haven't played Ressurection, so I've only fought the original Dyaus Pita with the capelike thing, not the bladewings), those parts become much weaker and STAY weak when it's mad, so you can keep hammering them during enraged parts.
The problem is that it takes very little to enrage Dyaus Pita and it stays enraged for a damn long time.
As for its weaknesses...it's basically immune to any element other than divine, and pierce bullets do shit all. Melee crush does sorta alright against its torso...but only when it's not enraged. Melee sunder is good against its face, melee pierce against its front paws and tail, and ranged crush against its cape.
Going with GEB stuff...Soma uses a Sunder/Crush/Ice buster blade that's heavy on the crush and ice. Kota uses an assault gun with good crush and pierce...but no crush bullets, just pierce, and it sucks with Divine. Sakuya's Stella Swarm has good Divine and she's got Divine bullets...but it sucks at crush and she's got no crush bullets. And she's a medic. Alisa's got a Sunder/Fire longblade and a weaker gun than Kota with the same problems there. Lenka had some sort of longblade, and those are Sunder+Element.
Basically, the team's weapons all sucked against Dyaus Pita, and the only place they COULD do good damage to it it was specifically protecting.

Finished GE Brust more than a year ago on PSP. I have it on ppsspp now, and I have a controller. However, I find it tiring for my hand because it's "bulky", I'm only used to playing on PC or PSP. I remember being told that it's hard to play GE with keyboard. Is it?

Was the show any good? I love underboobs as much as the next guy but I'd like at least some interesting plot if I'm about to invest my free time in the whole series.
I spotted a lot of thematic symbolism in the final episode. Not surprising, since the director also did KnK's 5th Movie.
So key-phrases/words to see it: Evolution/Natural Selection/Survival of the Fittest portrayed by Lenka's God Arc. Fall of Man/Sin portrayed by Dyaus Pita going into Wrath Mode. Ascension portrayed by Lenka's gold hair and eyes; gold symbolizes perfection and the word God (kami) shares the same romanji for Hair (kami). God rests on the 7th day portrayed by Lenka passing out at dawn while the OST "Sunday" by Ghost Oracle Drive plays in the background. "Their Eyes Were Watching God" by 1st Unit staring at Lenka before he passes out and when he becomes leader (not really related but I read the book in World Lit Culture and thought it cool to add). Annnnnd... Lenka keeping his eyes gold is symbolism for Providence. Oh, and the synchronous attack by Kota and Sakuya that formed a triangle above Pita can be seen as reference to the Holy Trinity.

Tsukuyomi and Amaterasu are also Deusphages as well, and give Shattered God Arcs just like Susano'o - the only three that do (at least in GEB).

Most of the complaints stem from the fact that it was averaging 1.5 episodes a month during its original run with the pre-screening cancelled and episode 1 delayed.
As far as the content goes, gamefags probably dislike its divergence from the source, but on its own it's decent.

Well the story as of now isn't finished and S2 is very very unlikely.
The anime original structure of the anime came from the worldbuilding not present in games that Bandai wanted to show the fans.
Last ep has the story back on what is in the games so there's little to no reason for S2.

In God Eater Burst, how difficult a mission is depends on how many people you bring with you.
It's fairly easy if you bring a full squad of 3 NPCs.
It's difficult if you go solo.
It's hard as hell if the only person you bring with you is Kanon. Especially if you use buster blades primarily. The game claims she is a medic, but in actuality she is Challenge Mode.
