this is a long shot but i was looking at random series on mal a while ago and came across some kind of comedy/fantasy thing from the early 90s w/ anthropomorphic animal characters but i was never able to find it again. anyone know what i'm talking about?

Jinsei took ages to sub and people probably never even finished watching it. I know I didn't because of the absurdly slow subs; last episode I can recall was some rigged gameshow. It took weeks for one episode to get subs.
Shimoneta just had one running gag, and that's it. I loved it, but it wasn't really memorable beyond the whole "Being perverted is good" theme.

It lives in my heart.
Since the author has not made any new works, and I never seen any mentions of this on /a/ or elsewhere, so sometimes it feels like I'm the only person on this planet who has watched King Of Bandit Jing from start to finish.
It was one of the best anime ever made. The pacing, the story, the episodic format, the lore and world, it's just so surreal and beautiful. Season 2 never.

The rest are just events, which are fun on their own really. Tesatabi though was most likely made after getting plenty of positive feedback from the episode that pulled the same thing. But that will be it. With Ishidate gone, there will be no S3.
