Now that I finally played through all the translated content available I wanted to give my 2 cents to these threads.
First off they are great VNs. I really don't understand why I passed this up for so long, I probably thought it was edgy chuuni shit with high school kids doing material arts and lots of naruto like power level bullshit. But it actually was an amazing comedy school setting and the material arts thing was more used to define the characters of the girls and less to define the stories.
Regarding the routes I think Chris>Wanko>Momoyo>Mayu>Miyako with there being a big gap between Wanko and Momoyo.
Chris route was fantastic because Chris probably made the most progress as a person in her own route compared to all the other heroines. She went from a spoiled brat who was highly depending on her father to a strong character and she gave up everything she loved to stay with Yamato. The ending also felt really satisfying, and the route was probably the longest of them all. Also the rape scene was hilarious. What I liked most was that the route didn't end after they finally fell in love, but it only just started because her father didnt accept their love, as opposed to the other routes where the sex scenes kind of indicated the end of the route being near.
Wanko's route was good for similar reasons as Chris' route. She made an amazing character progression, and it was really nice to see her overcome herself and find a new purpose in life after she failed her initial dream. Also this route taught you a lot about the background characters which you didn't learn much about in the other routes. I loved it.
Momoyo's route I didn't like as much as many here seem to. I disliked the way her character progressed. She started to feel like a little entitled princess, "yamato I want you to buy me stuff all the time" "yamato you should keep me entertained all the time" "yamato become the prime minister while I don't do anything for all my life except beating up random

people". I was hoping she would be more like the typical big sister archtype where she takes care of people and she is the one who takes the lead in the relationship, but she wasn't like that at all. The way Momoyo ended up in her route is kind of like Chris started in her own.
I found this to be specially disappointing because Momoyo was a total bro in the other routes. She always helped people, always took care of Yamato, always took charge of the situation. Why did she become so different in her own route once you romance her?
Now despite all the negative things I agree to what a lot of people here said that Yamato makes the most progression as a character in her route. I really liked how much he fought and planned to win the way, and how much he improved as a person to win over Momoyo. His progression was better than in all other routes. Also the story was really good in her route, the All Out War was fun and much better than the other battle scenes in the game because it felt like the protagonist was actually making a big impact. All in all a very enjoyable route but I do feel overrated.
Moving on to Mayu's route. I liked her a lot as a character but her route was not as good as her. First of the battles were rather boring compared to Chris' and Momoyo's route. It felt pretty cheap when Yamato, Mayu and the PM were teaming up. There wasn't really any tension or any importance to win the battle. Also I disliked how they just conveniently got rid of Momoyo for a cheap reason. Another thing I disliked was how Mayu got rid of her phone strap which was the most fun part about her character. She was much less fun that way at the end of her route.
Lastly, Miyako. Not much to say here because not much happens. There is a lot of drama about nothing and then they fuck and suddenly the world is fixed. Okay?
Overall this was a great game and I am really happy I played it though. The side characters really carried this the most. Waiting for A1-5 translations.
