Does anyone else here have the omnibus? I never noticed she randomly saying loooooooong words in any of the scanlations, but it's been awhile. Just how curate is the official translation?
I enjoyed it a lot. Would love to have an anime adaptation, but show would be heavily censored until the blu-ray release.

It's perfect OVA materiel. Such a shame those aren't a thing anymore. Even terraformars got censored recently, which blew my mind when I saw all the fan edits of the decapitations.

She was clearly running out of ideas for the manga. at least they added that extra chapter in the print version so it doesn't end on the boat.

I didn't really expect any kind of great ending. The story was episodic and I think that worked fine.

Great manga. Pretty sure it's popular on /a/ too.
Re-reading with the omnibus currently. In retrospect, I don't really like how suddenly the chapters end but the ideas themselves are still very entertaining. Great manga overall.

Actually its brought up quite often here and usually looked rather well upon.
Good unique concept and it's episodic nature allows it to explore a lot of different interesting stories.
Most of the fun for me was seeing what fucked up shit Fran ended up doing in various situations.

Not really. Anime are mostly made as promotion for manga or LN with the hopes of it breaking even as an advertisement, hence why so many unfinished single season stories. It's pointless to animate something finished which wasn't exceedingly popular.
