What would dating Akari be like?
I finished watching this today. It was a good show. Season 1 was definitely better than Season 2, but the ending to Season 2 was not as bad as what I expected from what people on here said.
That being said, though, there was one thing about the ending I didn't quite get. Actual spoilers follow.In the final moments of the climax, Chaika uses her memories as magic fuel to fire the shot that finally takes out Gaz, and is shown to have obviously been seriously harmed/hurt somehow by this. She's completely unresponsive when Toru finds her.
Post timeskip (5 years), we find out that she's apparently still alive, but that on this day in particular she's "feeling well." I found this ambiguity kind of annoying. So, what exactly happened to Chaika when she used her memories as magic fuel? That WAS a big deal, right? Did she loose all her memories with Toru or something? Was that why she said "arigatou" instead of her usual "kansha" to express gratitude, as a sign that she was possibly re-learning how to speak(!)? Or am I reading too much into that?
Anybody who's read the source material or who knows any explanations to this stuff, please respond. Thanks in advance.
